My Candle

I have a candle which I have made myself. It is a wonderful candle, huge, to say the least, colorful, thick, and somehow intense. Yet, it does not "work", does not do as I wished. The flame is quickly becoming too big, the wax is then running all over the place, and it often smokes like a chimney.

Thus, the candle needs my constant attention. Its wick needs to be shortened often. The walls it builds need to be bent inward or I have to rebuild them to avoid the hot wax to leak out.

I would never ask for more.
